Developing Faith to Receive Divine Healing

Mark 5:24-34King James Version (KJV)

²⁴ And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

²⁵ And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

²⁶ And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

²⁷ When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

²⁸ For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

²⁹ And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

³⁰ And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

³¹ And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

³² And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

³³ But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

³⁴ And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

What is Faith?

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. (Hebrews 11:1)

Faith is Having strong confidence, assurance and trust that God will fulfill what He promise to do.

Faith is to act upon the Word of God!!!

How healing Faith comes?

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. (Romans 10:17

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God

Real Faith must be based on God’s Word

The hindrance to Receiving divine healing is:

THE UNBELIEVING HEART.

⁵ And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
⁶ And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

Unbelief is the enemy of faith and the major hindrance to receiving divine healing.

Unbelief is rejecting God’s Word…

Some years ago, when the Lord was teaching about healing the sick, I had a vision where I was praying for people and they were receiving miracles of instant healings, but when I got to a particular man he didn’t get well. I prayed and prayed until happen yet I was sensing the strong healing anointing present. Then I began to pray and ask the Lord Jesus what could be the problem. This was the reply I got and it changed my mindset about the healing ministry.

Jesus said to me, “Diving healing and Divine health is by Choice. It is a CHOICE OF FAITH”.

The Lord went on to let me know that the man had made his choice not to receive the blessing of healing through his UNBELIEF!

Making a Choice of Faith

The story of the Woman with the issue of blood (what medical calls hemorrhage) is a perfect example of a person who made a choice of faith and got her healing.

In fact, Jesus did not comment on the healing anointing, but commended the woman’s faith

It doesn’t matter the infirmity.

It doesn’t matter the affliction

Whatever sickness or disease you may be struggling with (spiritual, physical, mental or emotional)

The promise of divine healing is available for you today.

You need to plug in the Healing power of Jesus Christ by FAITH
